Where It All Began

Being fond of the outdoors, Jesse Tan, dreamed and planned to set-up an outdoor equipment business as early as his elementary and highschool days. The name, Conquer, was born during a climb with 4 other friends in Pico de Loro, Batangas. After college, he immediately acted on his business plan by initially setting up his small shop at home. He searched for suppliers of quality fabric and bought his initial stock of raw materials. With only 1 high-speed sewing machine, he hired 1 tailor who put his designs together. To sell his merchandise, the fresh graduate opened his first shop at a small stall in Monumento, Caloocan in 1998. Both the demand for eco-tourism and budget travel allowed the young entrepreneur to expand his venture. In 2005, he moved the store to a more strategic location at Forum Robinsons. Today he maintains the Manila store with over 40 provincial distributors across the Philippines.

The company takes pride in their product line. By offering a lifetime warranty (90 days for slippers), Conquer becomes a brand many outdoor enthusiasts trust.
